The Pfänder is a mountain near Bregenz in western Austria. You can get there with a cable car (aerial tramway). The summit is 1064 above sea level. The Pfänderbahn was built in the years 1926/27.
From Pfänder you have a beautiful view over the Lake Constance. Switzerland and Germany are not far away.
At the top you have several restaurants.
There is also an Alpine wildlife park with ibexes, pigs, goats.
You can walk to the 95 meters tall radio tower.
In the summer and on weekends it can be crowded.
