Welcome to Vienna's botanical garden in Vienna's 3rd district. For visitors, this is a form of relaxation in the heart of the city. Lots of green, lots of nature, pleasant temperatures even in midsummer. A place to cool down and come down. Away from stress and the digital world. From native plants to exotic specialties to rare species, everything is there that makes a plant lover's heart beat faster. Check this out if you're in Vienna and looking for some time to relax. The facility is used for species research and for teaching students. The preservation of endangered species or the exchange of plants and seeds with other institutions are also among the important functions of the botanical green oasis.
