Today while I take you on an afternoon hunt for squirrels in Vienna's Augarten. Stay alert for the squirrel dirt across the your path or or as they do their mating dance on the trees. Vienna has approximately 8,500 ground squirrels but it takes a bit of creativity to catch them on camera. These cute little rodents have made themselves right at home at the Augarten here in Vienna. Children and adults alike go weak at the knees when a couple of ground squirrels puts in a surprise appearance, darting between them and park benches.

On this afternoon walk, I will take you you through routes we have both not been to before here in Augarten, but it is where the adventure really lies. We will walk around the garden to see what else it had to offer other than the European ground squirrels present here in Augarten

Life is literally back in Augarten Wien.
