Austria: OSCE Minsk Group meets for talks on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict

The President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev held a meeting on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict with top foreign ministers in Vienna on Monday.

Sargsyan and Aliyev met with the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, US Secretary of State John Kerry and French Foreign Minister Jean Marc Ayrault in Bristol hotel of the Austrian capital.

The participants discussed ways to achieve a ceasefire in the region as well as come up with a long-term resolution of the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

The negotiations have been initiated and mediated by the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group, which Russia, France and the US are all members of.
