#Bregenz #walkingtour #Austria
Bregenz, Austria is a small town on the shore of Lake Constance. Bregenz is also the capital of the westernmost state of Austria, Vorarlberg, bordered by Switzerland to the west and Germany to the northwest, and we also run on the forest road.
We started the walk from the casino and headed to the lake promenade. We passed the grounds of the Bregenz Festival, which takes place in the summer. But on this rainy day, we saw a different city.
We continue our tour of the city center, where tourists and locals can see shops even in wet weather. We also visited some interesting areas in and around Bregenz Upper Town. This area was once fortified. Today, it's a nice place to walk around and see old buildings like St. Martin's Tower (Martin Tower), and the remains of the old 13th-century city walls that still stand.
Soon it was back in the city centre and Lake Constance, where we ended our tour of the marina with views of the city and the West Pier Lights that marked the entrance to the harbour.
