Kufstein is a smaller city in Tyrol, Austria, bordering Germany. The river Inn is passing by the district's capital, and it's located near the Wilder Kaiser mountain range. Kufstein is known for the medieval fortress, which is elevated on the boulder in the city center. The old town surrounds the fort, but from the ground level. Knight and medieval feast are still held here every year.

Old colorful houses make this city look exceptionally pretty. The small lane to the oldest inn, the Auracher Löchl, is a testament of Kufstein's past.
