We went from a Greek ferry to a blizzard in Austria in 24 hours. Game 2 takes us to Sölden for the opening World Cup giant slalom of the Olympic season. 10,000 feet up a glacier.

Paula Moltzan and Mikaela Shiffrin racing. Cowbells, sumo suits, and kids who were born in California trying not to freeze. Two Team USA skiers finished in the top four.
