You can enjoy our beautiful drive on Gotthardpass in Switzerland 2017. This Pass is located in the Alps and 2106 meters above sea level.

For the approximately 20 kilometers of the Gotthard-Pass in Switzerland, we drove with a Subaru Forester and filmed the whole drive with a 4K (ultra HD) camera.

The driving on the mountain pass Gotthard with the Subaru Forester made a lot of fun and we enjoyed every moment of it. Just look at the beautiful landscape of the Swiss Alps with its big mountains and diverse nature.

The Gotthardpass is great for sightseeing and tourism flourishes in Switzerland. On the Gotthard Mountain Pass, there are many curves and slopes. Therefore, the drive is not recommended for everyone.

To give you the best view of St Gotthard and an immersive driving experience, we used an ultra wideangle lens.

The Gotthardpass was the most important connecting road between north and south over the Alps (Alpen) since the Middle Age. Nowadays, the route over or under the Gotthardmassiv (Gotthard massively) is still very important. It is the direct connection through the central alps.

The name Gotthardpass (Gotthard Pass) comes from the holy Godehard von Hildesheim.

The road of the mountain pass connects Andermatt and Airolo. The Gotthard-Pass is 110 kilometers long.
