Lutago is located at the beginning of the Valle Aurina and is surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of the Zillertal Alps. About 14 three-thousanders, such as the Cima di Campo and Sasso Nero, surround the village of Lutago. Its local mountain, the 3,368 m high Sasso Nero, is a popular hiking/climbing destination from all over the world.
