UN Special Envoy to Syria Staffan de Mistura gave a joint press conference alongside Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State John Kerry, after a meeting of the International Syria Support Group (ISSG) at the Palais Niederoesterreich hotel in Vienna, Tuesday.

Speaking on the outcomes of the intra-Syrian talks, de Mistura said "the main new element, apart from the willingness to address it, is the upgrading in Geneva of this operational centre between Russian and American military and civilians."
